I have watched these Korean movies last night and just now. I cried in the near of the end of movie. It was so touching and heartwarming.

Both of them are sport movie and based on true story. Really inspiring.
There has no oh-so-handsome-good-looking-actors in this movie. And no love story. But it can make me really cry. Especially, Lifting King Kong, I cried a buck.

Take Off

Synopsis
In 1996 a small Korean town is undergoing a large-scale construction in preparation for Winter Olympics bid. In the middle of the construction, the local committee receives a report that they do not have sufficient athletes to compete. they conclude to form a ski jump team in order to represent the event. Former American Junior alpine athlete Bob is an adoptee who came to Korea in search of his mother. With 4 other non-experienced athletes, he form the first Korean ski jump team. there’s no turning back, it’s a challenge they committed to.

The actors has lost 10 kgs and went for ski training for like 3 months. They are really PROFESSIONAL.

Lifting King Kong

Synopsis
This comedy ― that closed the 3rd Chungmuro International Film Festival in Seoul ― is about a financial whiz-kid (Lee Beom-soo) who goes missing just days before his wedding. The media blows the case into a larger-than-life abduction, in which a most improbable group of people become entangled. 15 and over.

How come Koreans can make such a great movie? C'mon Myanmar movie, can't we be like them? I wanna be a FILM DIRECTOR. If I were Korean, I would be so proud of myself. I guess Susie and Nang would be happier, if they were as well :)

Chinese Ghost Month is around the corner (I don't know exactly which day though, start from 20 August, Thursday or 21 August, Friday or something).

Well, I should not go back home late. There will be burning smell everywhere too. Avoid to step on ash. The thing I am happy is a lot of ghost movies coming out. Yayyy!! I have been thirsting for new ghost/horror movies. There have quite a lot of korean horror movies/dramas in this season.

I am going to catch up Soul/Hon (KDrama), Home Town Legend (KDrama), Whispering Corrider 5 (KMovie), Yoga School (KMovie starred Eugene), Scream (KMovie starred Nam Sang-mi).

I am not going to post these movies/dramas picture to freak me out myself (at least) when I visit my blog.

Anyone care to watch with me? Because as much as I love watching horror movies, I am scared to watch alone as well. Well, most of the times, I have to watch alone though since there has no one to watch with me anyway =/ my pillows, stuffed toys and cushions will be accompanied me. Covering my eyes, closing my ears with hands are back to action. I just like the chills and tense while I am watching Horror Movies (it is sorta like riding roller coaster). But after watching too much, I become like expert or what? Most of the time, when the things going to come out, I sense it.

Last night, I watched this K-Movie "Antique Bakery". Cakes are yummy but hard to pronounce such as "Charlotte aux Poires, Tarte au Chocolat, Mille-feuille aux Fraises, Onctueuse Jivara Lactee, Choux Parisienne" (roll-tongue-exercise). The actors are good looking and eye candy. Even though plot isn't that oh-so-good but it is cute. There has a lot of gay-kissing scenes. (I thought the name is just pretty so I put up it as entry title)

Oh by the way, Kim Jae Wok is as pretty as girl. No wonder, he is hot gay in movie. He said he is gay of demonic charm in movie.

The quote I like from movie is "but life may be a cycle of pain and bad memories. That's probably why people look for cake when they're happy. Since life is a bitter thing, we try to make our joys even sweeter." - Antique Bakery.

America's Next Top Model Season 12 is starting. Yayyyy!!! Love it. There has a lot of pretty girls in this season. Looking forward to it.

I am watching Project Runway, Korea as well. But I have to wait for subtitle for quite long time (only episode 1 subtitle is out now)

P.S. I love reality series related to model, fashion and those kinda related.

Iljimae

Synopsis

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Ryung acts as a useless gangster in the marketplace by day but at night he is a chivalrous robber who robs corrupt government officials to give to the poor. After each robbery he leaves behind a wooden branch from a plum tree at the site of the robbery to take responsibility for the robbery. The poor citizens only know him as Iljimae. Bong Soon is a hilarious girl with good martial art skills and lives as a swindler. She only loves Ryung and sacrifices her whole life for him. Eun Chan is a doctor's daughter and is good in nature and usually helps miserable people. She meets Iljimae once by chance, and their sweet love story begins. However, her love puts Iljimae in a dangerous situation because an Imperial Guard also loves her.
Frankly, I don't like historical Korean drama. But I watch Iljimae all because of Lee Junki. He's the eye candy. I like watching his drama and movie. Subtitle is out only until episode 2. While I was watching episode 2, I cried at the scene about Lee Junki's childhood image stoned his mother to avoid the suspection of being rebel's son.

Both of Lee Junki's dramas "Time between Dog and Wolf" and this "Iljimae", since his childhood life, he lost both of his parents. So poor thing.

Upcoming movies I want to watch & The Movie I watched

Cherry Tomato

Synopsis

Park Gu makes a living for himself and his granddaughter Da-seong by collecting recyclable paper on the street. Their situation becomes worse when his son is released from prison and steals Park's savings, and his bicycle-drawn cart ― his only tool for making money ― is destroyed by construction workers. Park visits the house of the construction company's head, where he ends up trying to steal meat for his hungry granddaughter. But the meat, which was for the owner's dog, had been poisoned by the housekeeper, who doesn't like her boss.

The kid is so cute, furthermore, she can act well regardless of her age. I saw her in "Heart is" movie before. I love her and adore her.

Frivolous Wife

Synopsis

Inspired by Shakespeare's classic of the same name. Yeon-su is a beautiful but naughty young woman whose family became millionaires overnight. All men fall in love with her at first sight, but Jeong-do, the only son of a respected family, has no regard for her. Yet despite this, the two fall in love and get married. However, their conflicting families shake up their wedded bliss. 12 and over.

This movie could be fun and comedy movie. And Park Jin Woo is cute. I can't miss to watch his movie.

Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Di Do

This movie is made from FanFic. I thought it must be oh-so-good. But it failed my expectation (I was expecting so much). Just normal movie only. I don't feel 'woah' factor and any fabulous twist, surprises in movie.

Man, this movie is like from 2004. But it is one of the best movie ever. I just finished watching second times (I usually don't watch movie like twice). And I cried like heck a lot. First time I was watching as well, I cried a lot. I wonder I still can cry at second time. Maybe, I still can cry next time I watch too, but not too frequently watching, of course. I gave this movie like 7986146174968 stars.

Just watching Kang Dong Won makes me teary eye. I cry for two of his movies, this movie and "Our Happy Time". Why he has to die in both movie? Argh! I'm drooling for Kang Dong Won now.

This new movie "My Tutor Friend Lesson II" looks wack funny (Look at the first three pictures / posters.) I'm so ga-ga to see this. This movie is kinda sequel to "My Tutor Friend" movie. The first movie was also really funny and it was a hit too. I can't wait to watch this movie. The actor looks new to me. I never watch his drama or movie before. But he looks pretty handsome. I like the actress. Although she isn't really beauty queen, she is funny and cute.

My Tutor Friend Lesson II's Synopsis

Junko, a Japanese of Korean ancestry, comes to Korea to find her sweetheart. She finds lodging at a guest house that provides room and board. Unfortunately, the room that she is supposed to stay in belongs to the owner’s son, Jong-man. On her first night in Seoul, Junko is forced to share the room with Jong-man. Junko wants to find another place, but the owner desires to keep Junko as a guest and offers Junko free Korean lessons from Jong-man. It is going to be some adventure for Junko in Seoul!
